Connect ChatGPT to Jasning

Add Jasning as a remote MCP server in ChatGPT's custom connectors.

ChatGPT custom connectors speak MCP. Jasning ships with a built-in MCP server, so the setup is the same shape as Claude.

What you'll need

  • A Jasning account (free during beta)
  • ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Team, or Enterprise (custom connectors are not on the free tier yet)
  • Two browser tabs

Steps

1. Copy the MCP URL

https://jasning.com/mcp

2. Add a custom connector

In ChatGPT, go to Settings → Connectors → Add. Choose Custom MCP server. Paste the URL.

ChatGPT auto-detects the auth flow (OAuth 2.1 + PKCE) and shows the consent page.

3. Authorize

Log in on the Jasning side, review what the connector can do, click Grant access. You'll come back to ChatGPT.

4. Test

Plan Eva for Tuesday at 14:00.

ChatGPT picks up the relevant tools, asks for clarification if needed, and slots the appointment.

Things to know

  • ChatGPT will sometimes confirm before mutating data. That's normal and is the right default.
  • Connector context counts against your conversation. If you switch tools mid-chat ("now help me draft an email"), ChatGPT may evict the MCP tools and lose context. Start a new chat for a fresh dispatch session.
  • The first call after a long pause may be slow as the connection warms up. After that it's snappy.

Useful starting points

  • Find a free 90-minute slot for Lina next Wednesday afternoon.
  • Reschedule everything outdoor on Friday. Bad weather forecast.
  • Pull the next three queue items and slot them across the team.

Revoking access

In ChatGPT: Settings → Connectors, remove. Or in Jasning: Settings → Tokens, revoke.
