Connect Claude to Jasning
Add Jasning as a custom connector in Claude. Two minutes.
Claude can read and write your Jasning dispatch board over MCP. Setup is two minutes.
What you'll need
- A Jasning account (free during beta)
- Claude on web, desktop, or iOS (any version with custom connector support)
- Two browser tabs
Steps
1. Copy your MCP endpoint
It's the URL printed on the docs page:
https://jasning.com/mcp
2. Add the connector in Claude
In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Paste the URL. Save.
Claude will discover the available tools automatically.
3. Authorize Jasning
Claude opens a Jasning consent page in a new tab. Log in if you haven't already, review the permissions, and click Grant access. You'll be redirected back to Claude.
4. Test it
Ask Claude:
Show me today's dispatch.
If you see a list of appointments (or "no appointments scheduled today"), you're connected.
Useful first prompts
Plan tomorrow. Use the queue.Move all of Friday to Monday.Who's closest to Aalter right now?How busy is Tom next week?
Revoking access
Two places:
- In Claude: Settings → Connectors, remove the connector.
- In Jasning: Settings → Tokens, revoke the entry.
Either works. The token stops working immediately.
Troubleshooting
"My assistant says it can't see Jasning."
Check the URL ends in /mcp and that you completed the OAuth flow. The first time, you should see a Jasning consent screen. If you skipped it, sign out and reconnect.
"Calls fail with 401." The token expired or was revoked. Reconnect from Claude's connector settings.
"Claude invented an appointment that doesn't exist."
Tell it to use appointments-list before talking about specifics. Once it knows the tool, it stops guessing.
See the full MCP docs for the tool inventory.
